Stephanie Laguna is currently Executive Director for Market Strategy, Research, and Analysis at Kaiser Permanente (KP), one of the nation’s leading health care providers and largest not-for-profit health plans. In this role, Stephanie oversees development and execution of product and market growth strategies that deliver over $3B annual revenue for the Mid-Atlantic region. Stephanie is consistently rated by her employees above best in class healthcare industry benchmarks on the organization’s annual People Pulse survey.

 

Previously, as KP’s Director for Market Strategy and Analysis from 2012-2015, Stephanie led market strategy development for several lines of business generating over $1B annual revenue. During this time, she defined the strategic approach and go to market plan to turn around performance in the Individual business line, realizing a 20 point market share improvement over four years. Earlier in her 15+ year KP career, Stephanie held various positions of increasing responsibility in venture development, market strategy, and product management. Prior to KP, Stephanie gained marketing and business development experience in a start-up environment. She began her career in lobbying and government relations, including a stint as a legislative aide for a U.S. Senator.

 

Stephanie earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with emphases in Marketing and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Markets and Management Studies from Duke University.
